In the past couple years (besides working, school, and DCB), Justin found time to help out Amherst County High School's Choral Department Show Band by playing electric guitar at their show choir competitions. He really enjoyed doing this since he was part of the ACHS choral department all through high school.
When he gets a chance, Justin likes golfing, baseball, basketball, and hanging out with his friends. But DCB is his top priority! The past eight years as a Deer Creek Boy has been, by far, his most rewarding experience. He is very grateful to be in the company of such talented musicans and friends.
Being named the Virginia State Guitar Champion by the Virginia Folk Music Association in September of '06 was a great accomplishment and honor for him.
Songwriting has quickly become a favorite pastime of Justin's, and he's been doing quite a bit of it.
